Hobby Boss continues to rapidly expand its line of 1/72 aircraft kits. The range as a whole has so far received mixed reviews, being generally appreciated for the extreme ease of assembly, innovative kit design and very well done surface detail, but criticised for the lack of cockpits and chunky, inaccurate small parts. Despite these shortcomings, some of the models in the line, like the F4F-4 Wildcat or the MiG-3 could be regarded as the most accurate representations of respective aircraft in 1/72 scale.
Perhaps most importantly, the Hobby Boss models are among the best kits aiming at the youngest modellers.
In all, Hobby Boss kits are not to be ignored, especially that the company is now rapidly expanding the line with a second batch of releases, comprising no less than twelve (!) new kits.

I have examined the T-6 Texan and it looks quite good in the box, entirely comparable with the Academy offering. The kit features separate cockpit bath, which may be seen as a sign that Hobby Boss listens to their customers. I haven't seen any other kits of the line, but the choice of subjects is highly exciting, particularly the new-tool He 162!
