Hasegawa's new flagship

Coming in November is Hasegawa's new 1/350 warship model, the Imperial
Japanese Navy Battleship Nagato.

The initial production batch of the kit will include a 54mm metal figure of Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto.

Simultaneously with the kit, Hasegawa will release a superdetailing set and two photoetched sets. The superdetailing set will include photoetched parts for rescue boats, seaplane, catapult and metal gun barrels. The photoetched sets will add a full complement of handrails, cranes, antennae and further small details.

Contrary to their previous habits, Hasegawa has been rather generous in advertising detailed features of this forthcoming kit in the following photos.
