Trumpeter to challenge Dragon's P-51 Mustang in 1/32 scale

Hottest news from Trumpeter right now is the forthcoming release of 1/32 North American P-51B Mustang. The Trumpeter kit may be treated as a direct challenge to Dragon's previously released (and often criticised for its overdone surface detail) P-51D, even if the two models represent significantly different variants of this famous fighter. Even if the appearance of new-tool kit of P-51B in this scale is great news in itself, my guess is that Trumpeter is probing the subject and if succesful, will additionally follow this kit with a P-51D in the near future. Time will tell.

IPMS Philippines is the first to provide in-box review of this yet unreleased kit.
